PRE-MEDICAL COURSE REQUIREMENTS
No specific major is required for medical school admissions, but medical schools do require a typical set of courses in biology, chemistry, and physics. Many schools also have math and English course requirements, as well.

Typical requirements:

General Biology (with lab)…………………. 2 semesters
Inorganic Chemistry (with lab)……………. 2 semesters
Organic Chemistry (with lab)……………… 2 semesters
Physics (with lab).............................................2 semesters

English……………………………...................2 semesters

Math (when required)………………………..1 or 2 semesters
