The biology major provides
solid preparation for a variety of callings. Students have pursued
callings within the sciences but have also demonstrated the flexibility
of their preparation by in successfully pursuing callings outside
traditional science areas.
Many have pursued graduate and
professional training at institutions such as: Vanderbilt University
College of Medicine, University of Alabama School of Dentistry, Notre
Dame University, University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.
California College of Podiatric Medicine Loma Linda University College
of Public Health, Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, Georgetown
University College of Medicine, Stanford University College of
Medicine, Southern School of Optometry
Others have entered
the work force directly upon graduation in various areas such as:
medical laboratory research, biotechnology industry, aviculture, high
school science teaching, missions, banking, veterinary assistant,
science writing, politics, hotel management, aquarist, and much more.
