BIOMEDICAL TRACK
This track begins with a two-semester sophomore course in molecular and
cellular biology that includes extensive laboratory experience in the
major modern techniques in this area of biology. Popular upper division
electives in the track include courses in immunology, cancer biology,
biochemistry, and advanced microbiology. This track is especially
recommended for premedical students, those considering graduate school
in biomedical research and for those interested in biotechnology.
A minimum combined SAT score of 1200 or equivalent is strongly
recommended for this option. Here is a list of the requirements for the
